The Border Boys “Million Dollar Golf Classic” will be taking place at the fantastic Pyrford Lakes Golf Club in Surrey on Sunday 5th May.
With its USGA specification greens, tees and approaches, rolling landscape, stunning lakes and sleepy setting, located just minutes from the A3/M25, Pyrford Lakes is a “bucket list’ golf course and provides the perfect setting for our inaugural golf day.
The “Million Dollar Golf Classic” is based on Africa’s ‘major’ which takes place every year at the magnificent Gary Player Country Club in Sun City. The format for the day will be an Individual Stableford and, although we won’t be giving away a Million Dollars, we will have our own special prize for the winner. There will also be a number of other great prizes up for grabs including a chance to win a £10,000 Hole-in-One prize and raffle prizes totalling +/- £2,000.
We will be supporting our chosen charity for 2024, Greensleeves Children’s Trust which is a home for South Africa’s abandoned and orphaned children. We will also be raising funds for the club so we ask you to get behind a great initiative.
The cost to enter is £70 (Border Boy Members) or £75 (non-member) which includes a ‘goodie bag’, tea/coffee and bacon rolls before golf. There is an option for a meal after your round.
Tee times will start from 11am and bookings and registration must be made through this link. Prize giving will commence at 6pm.
